APIA History Cincinnati ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information you provide directly: If you use our Contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, organization (optional), interest area, and message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, to discuss research collaboration, oral history participation, speaking requests, or general questions. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Donations: Donations are processed through PayPal. We do not receive or store your payment card information. PayPal handles that directly under its own privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information
Affiliate links: Our Book Recommendations pages contain Amazon and Barnes & Noble affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. Those retailers' own privacy policies govern any information you provide on their sites.
Site analytics: This site runs on Wix and uses Wix's standard built-in site analytics and cookies to understand traffic and improve the site. We have not added any additional tracking tools, such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels, beyond what Wix provides by default.
Oral History Participants & Contact
If you participate in an oral history interview with us, we handle your recording, transcript, and any personal information you share according to the consent terms discussed with you directly at the time of the interview, not by this general website policy.
